HARD-EDGE SERIES

"In the course of our youth we see life as a vast lake

with unlimited water supply, though our concluding

journey unveils it was a beautiful lasting mirage"

(Lopez-Espina, 2016)

After months of experimentation, the Hard-Edge series below became my first legitimate series. To better provide an understanding of the progression of this early style, I've  organized the paintings chronologically. As you will notice, the pieces turned more intricate with time. Many canvases were painted for this series and a good number sold.  Regrettably, my only photographic record of the work sold, got damaged during my move to Brazil. I only realized this when gathering material for this website. Fortunately, I did manage to save two slides from those archives and added them to the group for more content. To avoid any confusion, they have been marked as sold.
